Not often seen..

..but it's call is so familiar - cuckoo, cuckoo..

As I was in the bathroom this morning, I heard it calling, and sounding so close. A look out of the window and saw him on this post about 100 yards away. So downstairs to get camera, and back up to the window to get the shot (and others).. The prospective "host" family soon saw him off.. I think they know too well what was in store..

Another gloriously sunny day, but with cool breeze (I'm told grey and low cloud in Inverness and 8 deg C..). Crops will be enjoying this..

Mostly working in the tunnel, finishing off the last beds, and planting them up. Then fixing lines for the tomatoes.
A harvest for the hotel, and camera club tonight..

Sun is forecast to continue into next week..
