Day off

I haven't worked today, with being away at the beginning of the week. Clinic day tomorrow, so makes sense to be home today. The Husband has taken off Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to finally knuckle down to doing all his work for becoming chartered.

As it was sunny at lunch time, it felt appropriate to take advantage of it and head across to a cafe in Maraetai for lunch. A well deserved break for him, and as for me...any excuse to go to the beach.

The Youngest has just cracked out a batch of microwave brownies which her and the Eldest have started to polish off for their afternoon tea. I can't face them, as I'm still full from lunch. Nearly time to start on making dinner, and I'm not feeling ready for that either. Might have to do something for the kids, and then the Husband and I might have toast later on.
