Anniversary

Today Joy and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary.  We were married in Richmond, VA and it was 98 degrees with stifling humidity.  Maymont Park, in all its historic, natural beauty had never looked better than it did when Joy graced the grounds with her presence that day.  I'm sure Maymont has never looked as good since then, either. 

So what about the squash blossom?  Well, it's simple and elegant.  It's so beautiful in the garden right now.  And I know that the best part is yet to come.  Just like our marriage.  Love.
