Sheep with snouts?

No, these are Mangalica (sometimes spelled Mangalitsa or Mangalitza) pigs, a  Hungarian breed with thick woolly coats,  originally developed for lard in the mid-19th century but neared extinction until revived in the 1990s.  A few have been imported into the UK in recent years and they are registered with the British Pig Association and said to have levels of monounsaturated fat and omega3 now seen as a healthier option for human dietary needs, but are kept largely as a hobby or in zoos.

I photographed them  at the Beamish Open Air Museum, County Durham..
