Meanwhile in The Garden

The Bossess needs a wheel alignment. Well actually her car does and this was determined at the last warrant of fitness (the cars NOT The Bossess) when excessive wear was noticed. (The car not the bosses). The Boss suggested that it may have been the way she drives. The wounds will heal soon.
Driving is something that dogs don't do and I for one am pleased to be not involved. Almost every day The Boss tells me of some complete stupidity, perpetrated by an inexperienced driver, an intoxicated driver, a disqualified driver or some other human who has forgotten that cars are were invented to replace walking rather than an ego trip to prove how clever they are to put their foot on a pedal. From a dogs point of view this is odd at best but does seem to fit the human condition.
You can put any collar on a dog and the dog will not care and will not change behaviour because of it. Humans are way more complicated but I guess that's because they run things and dogs don't. (Yet) Anyway The Boss and I took The Bossess car up to the garage this morning and decided to walk home. It was a cool and potentially inversive morning and The Boss needed a Blip so we walked past the local school and there screaming at us from someone's garden was this. And at the same time the sky was deciding to get "all shock up" so it just had to be. There were bits of houses and other stuff that got the Lightroom treatment but you can just make out the playing fields of Mt Aspiring College, our local High school that we are all especially proud of. The schools enjoy special rates at the local ski fields and there have been some great sporting careers that have come out of this.
But then again most of the kids will get cars and while the majority remain completely anonymous there is always the few that have to learn the hard way that they are not indestructible. For myself I blame Television. Nobody ever gets killed in a car chase.
