An Teallach traverse

A stunning clear sunny day for a rather warm ascent up this local beast of a mountain. A good deal of airy scrambling over shattered sandstone took us round the knife-edged ridge of the massive corrie. This shot is a view up the back of Lord Berkeley's Seat and the pinnacles of Corrag Buidhe. The extra shows the iconic ridgeline looking back from the final peak. On the whole it was not as enjoyable as the scrambling on Liathach, although it was a good deal more sustained. AND there were still no midges!

After the 10 hour round and return to the car, we suddenly became unable to get past the Dundonnell Hotel where we secured some welcome sustenance.
