Through Flames

We've had a lovely evening: we cooked our supper on a fire, and then hung around it for a good while, playing diabalo (the kids) , chatting, drinking gin (me and Marc).

I want to spend more time away from screens with the kids this week, so, perversely perhaps, we have decided to remove screen time restrictions. I am hoping that this will mean they feel less like time away from them is a deprivation and more willing to do other stuff. We'll see. Tricky, this parenting lark.

Anyway, am feeling very happy and Friday ish. These flames are dancing, that counts. #Fridaydance
