'The Birthday Boy'

Today is D's 7th birthday. Can't believe how quickly those years have passed.

I left work early today so that I could meet him after school finished and spend the afternoon at home with the family.

D is holding the Lego aeroplane that he got for his birthday and just finished building before dinner time. He still loves a new lego project to build and does them with ease now. He's always been good at following written instructions and loves helping me when a new Ikea item comes home that requires assembly.

He's a happy but very tired boy tonight after his big day, Mrs R is tucking him into bed now after he woke us up at 5:30 this morning.
