A day sorting out all the boxes of things I brought back from Little Addington. I sat in the garden in the morning sorting through Mum's family history files. There are many of them and her research fascinating. Maps, photos, historical documents, all beautifully ordered and noted. In the afternoon I moved inside to clear out some cupboard space for the various crockery and books I had brought back with me. With that done I watered some of the plants I am growing for the allotment - tomatoes, courgettes, butternut squash along with sunflowers and dahlias. The weather was beautiful and sunny today but it is looking unsettled for the bank holiday weekend.
