The first cherry blossom

The first cherry blossoms came out today! (literally; they weren't out yesterday because I looked!) I love cherry blossom - it's the second thing in my garden to flower (after the wattle) at this time of year - a real harbinger of spring days to come.

I have had to upload this 4 times to stop it coming out all streaky and there is still a white line along the edge! I wish I knew why that happens, as it happens to me a lot! In large you can see the chromatic aberration along the edge of the petals!
