Haikography

Somerset House

Through the clouded veil,
Treasures hung in lofty halls,
To hold us in thrall.

Long time no blip, but met friend and fellow blipper Miranda1008 today.  We were off to see an exhibition  of Botticelli drawings at the Courtauld Gallery in London... however  when we got there we discovered the exhibition had actually finished a couple of weeks ago (!) ... no matter ... we enjoyed the delights of the Courtauld's collection...  which is truly amazing.  Special delights were the Cezannes and a room of Jasper John which had his Four Seasons - just brilliant.

After all this culture food and wine were required so we spent the rest of the afternoon eating and chatting .... a very lovely day!

A couple more pics in extras ... didn't take many as have got out of the blip habit of late ... but maybe this will be a new start.

PS. Miranda - haiku was written in Courtauld Gallery pencil!
