Dandelion "Clock".

A busy day.  As Tomorrow is the last day before September when the Lodge will be empty I needed to check the Verandah and replace some planks.  The Verandah is nearly 12 years old and the parts which get particularly wet tend,despite wood preservative to start to rot.

Periodically I go round the verandah standing on one leg on every plank between each joist.  If any show signs of sagging they are replaced.  SO today I replaced two.

The Image is titled Dandelion Clock dating back to the days of my childhood when you would pick one and the number of blows it took was said to equal the hours on the clock.  Blows as in exhale through pursed lips not as in hit with something.
