Never say goodbye because goodbye
...means going away, and going away means forgetting
Aw J - always stay the same
We met this magnificent example of manhood 10 years ago when he and his much loved, now departed Da came 'home' for a visit and my Mam, who was married to their first cousin, my Da, opened her house to them and assisted in what was possibly the best holiday experience known to mankind.
We met them, drunk their booze, allowed them to drink ours; laughed and chatted our way to a mutual love for one another
Years have passed; C has gone now; and J lives in the wee blue hoose in Nu Joisy, which he and his da rebuilt together; mum has visited, boy has visited and this week at the end of our much packed in holiday himself and i stopped by for a wee visit too.
What a wee visit it was; pizza, stories, family, beer, more stories, culture, rocky; food; beer; more family; ground hogs, Blue the Dog; Squirrels.
What a family - five Boys, two gals - and so much love between them all; love flows from their pores and you get washed up it in all - and the Brogue... But the time has flown so fast and we're
Heading off again tomorrow morning - we've spent the evening sitting on the deck (on the newly painted chairs - the ones i did are the streaky ones) listening to this one's stories.
What an amazing life; what amazing stories he tells - i could listen to him all night!
But we can't we gotta go; but we've had the best time and J, you just gave us even more reason to return sooner (i gotta do a second coat on those chairs).
Don't ever change Jimmy Windows....
Love Ya Cuz x x Til next time
