The Woodman
Well, the weather gods surely delivered today....as of 4 pm we have had 70 mm (getting close to 3 inches) Boy of boy, has it ever rained. Heavy and consistent, never stops and its still raining. Its months and months (and more months) since we have had a decent rain, and now can very confidently say the drought conditions we have lived with for an age has passed.
The wet weather gear had to come out this morning to replenish the wood supply, Doug was rather excited about the prospect of getting out into the rain - a very quick snap and blip was done and dusted.
Snowing in Tekapo, we decided it would be craziness to travel up there for the night sky workshop - apparently, it is more a tutorial in the Community Centre now as there is heavy overhead conditions.
I put the indoor time to good use, have backed up everything, also tidied up a lot of folders withing the external hard drives. That done I embarked on finding, then started editing our Italian Lake images. We holidayed there in 2009 after being in Croatia for a few weeks. I managed to do photo books of Croatia but never go to do Italy. After that, we had a week in Shanghai & the Yellow Mountains, so that will have to be done as well. Determined to get these Blurb books done before we head to the Northern Hemisphere in August.
Rugby soon - Crusader (Canterbury, South Island) versus Blues (Auckland).
