Olympics in Leeds

We've been hosting some of the Chinese Olympic team for the past few weeks and in particular, their swimmers have been a common site, training hard in the pool, alongside staff and students.

Just as I was finishing my lunch, K bounced into the office and said "If you want a blip, the Chinese team are on the steps having their photo taken!" So, I quickly grabbed the camera (with the wrong lens on...) and legged it down the stairs and around the front of the building, quickly followed by skippygirl and K.

What was particularly lovely, was that a goodly number of our Chinese students were also there, excitedly taking photos - of the team and of them and the team (hence why my shot is off to one side - no chance of getting directly in front of them).

I hope they enjoyed their stay with us and wish them all the best for the Olympics :-)
