Walking round...

the grounds of a friend's house, admiring his wonderful collection of rhododendrons, decided to blip this Greenfinch, to show how lovely the day was and to protect his privacy.
Earlier had walked behind my home and found the proud Lapwing parents with their two chicks. The extra shows one chick from a distance so I did not disturb them.
The Blackbirds and Thrushes are onto second broods but the Tits have hardly started as they know there are no caterpillars yet.
A beautiful sunny day.
