Went along to the "Figgy Do" open day at the Figgate Park this afternoon. Place was mobbed, with lots of activities going on and people enjoying the sunshine. Went to see an exhibition of wildlife photos, all taken in the park, by fellow blipper Anth. Apparently the exhibition will be going on a tour of Edinburgh libraries so there will be other opportunities to see them. Some great shots of urban wildlife, some common, others more exotic. Anth recommended that I go to see graffiti artist Paco Graff working on another piece in the park. When I got there, he wasn't quite finished - will need to go back another day to see it. All in all, Figgate Park certainly is a jewel in East Edinburgh's public park estate!
