Map key

I found this today - "An alphabet of map reading" from the 1940s. It was in a girl guiding diary of my grans behind some books that my dad was showing me. It's such a lovely booklet - and cost three pence!  

However nice it is being home and relaxing, I have had a huge mood change yesterday and today. I am far more upbeat when I'm outside and busy rather than sitting around indoors where I get a bit lonely and sad. This is also making me more nervous for Cambridge, where I have to leave Scotland and the hills that I love. I am definitely going to have to find a new sport to fall in love with down there...
