Cherwell: Sleepy Chaperone
Ripplier reflections in large.
Different day, same routine... The swan family were on the Cherwell when I arrived, but they quickly nipped off down the little side stream so I ended up following the same route as yesterday, and ended up with rather similar angles (bird's-eye view today vs. yesterday; posing today vs. yesterday's blip), although the light today was warmer, and I did get some rather different shots too. The most unexpected moment was when the mother swan pushed past a branch, and then it swung back and thwacked one of the cygnets as it followed her; it wasn't hurt, but certainly seemed shocked.
My other shots are on Flickr (right from here).
