Mother and Child

One advantage of getting to the park at some unspeakable hour in the morning is being alone with these wonderful creatures. Crouching down in the grass I watched this mother and her little one for ages, and they came quite close to me not seeming to mind me being there. I stayed there till they moved off, being careful not to make any sudden movements. 

This afternoon Kate and I went for a long walk through Bushy Park and Home Park. See my extra photo for a scenario in Bushy Park which made our blood run cold - how can people be so utterly stupid?
