Gorgeous day.

Went for a wander with C1 to the Botanics. 

Highlights of the day;

The swans on the Powderhall stretch of the Water of Leith have three tiny grey fluffy cygnets. The pen is still sitting though, so there may be another egg. 

There is a kingfisher on the Powderhall stretch of the Water of Leith and we saw him flash past in brilliant blue and orange, but he was far too quick to take a photo. 

The Botanics are glorious with colour, the azaleas are in full bloom as are the meconopsis. 

Plus I didn't see a single silly sign all day, just sensible ones.
