It’s been a good day…

I've been looking forward to today – the day I get my new glasses! I duly presented myself at the appointed time and was greeted by a young man who was to fit my glasses. I have to say he spoke so fast he could well have been speaking a foreign language. I afraid on a number of occasions I had to ask him to repeat himself and slowly.  Anyway, I’m now the proud possessor of two pairs of glasses.

Our first clematis has now started blooming and is my blip for today. A visit to the local farm shop provides my extra – one of the staff brought a basket of eggs just collected from the area around the shop and café – the looked so inviting…
