Our pond

Our pond is developing nicely.  The water is really clear and alive with newts.  And the vegetation is filling in well around the edges - today fluttering with blue and red damselflies - see extra.

And beyond the pond, the meadow area is also growing well.  The bracken encroaching from the field is not showing any signs of giving up.  I pull it up as soon as I see a frond - but it is persistent.
