Watching Clouds Go By

I took this last night after my run. The man didn't acknowledge my greeting,pre-occupied not just with looking at the view but with seeing much more. This point above Peebles, near the top of the Sware Hill, captures the magnificent dance and play of light on the ancient hills. Many who have loved this view have chosen to have their ashes scattered here. Lifted by the wind into the eternal dance. I could only guess at what this man was seeing and respectfully leave him in peace.
