Peralta Avenue

West Oakland, California is replete with remarkable street art in the form of murals on walls, doors, fences, utility boxes and any available surface. It’s a gritty urban environment. A documentary has just been made about people in Dogtown, the neighborhood where we are staying. We watched it last night, and the full film is available online here.
