Graceland calling

Tonight I was one of thousands who danced, sang and cheered as Paul Simon sang all the songs from the Graceland album and many others from his solo career. He started with 'Kodachrome/Gone at Last' and sang some of his new material before playing any of the Graceland tunes. Many of the musicians who played on the original Graceland tour were there, as were Ladysmith Black Mombaza, who were amazing. The concert lasted for a whole three hours (and he stayed within the curfew and so the plug was not pulled on him, unlike Bruce Springsteen, who experienced mysterious silence after 10.30 the night before).
