Snoozing snail

Saw this lil dude sleeping/hiding smack bang in the middle of the path on my way back from the gym. I was going to move it to a safe place so it didn't get stood on, but I didn't know if it had a specific destination and I didn't wanna set it back possibly days by moving it. I'm weird like that. It's such a strange colour though.
