This is a hybrid Lady's Slipper Orchid, variety Giselle.

Mrs.K. Planted it in our garden in 2007. The extra shows the whole plant. As you can see it looks fairly happy and it certainly gives happiness to its owners.

In the next few weeks you may see a few other varieties which are a week or two behind. They make nice blips.
