Mr Pelican On The River

Sunday is almost over and also went too quickly!! I managed to get the basic chores done, have a good read of my book and late this afternoon we went for a walk along the river.

There were quite a few people fishing and the pelican was hovering nearby hopeful for some cast offs! He did get the last of their bait as they left and then he motored away to find his next easy mark! :o)

My extra is of a young kite ( I think). He was making squeaky noises which is the only reason I noticed him and why I thought he was young!
