Old Bat

a curlew

Having read my new (thanks to colleagues for their contribution to this) camera's manual as far as "make sure you remove the lens cap before switching on the camera", I tottered off in the lunchtime sunshine to the marina. The tide was far out (man), so the few waders were also far away. However, my new camera managed to catch this bird. I took a photo of North Queensferry and discovered that there was a climbing frame in someone's garden over there. Who needs spy-in-the-sky?

I realised that wearing the new shoes for this totter was not such a good plan. Still, at least I know where to put the moleskin next time.
