It's a Party!

Drove to beautiful and historic Cobourg about 20 minutes east of Toronto. A retired co-worker has a gorgeous family home here and hosted a big party for another co-worker who is celebrating a birthday right now and well deserved retirement in December. 8 of us started the party off with 9 holes of golf in a really cute local par 3, but not was it hot! It was hovering around 40 with the humidity! Again same temp for Sunday, we have slammed in to summer. 5 of us female golfers borrowed the 2 make golfers hotel room and we showered, blow-dried and makeup in under and hour, impressive! Lovely lovely party, petit fours and anything else you could want. It was a traditional garden party and it was so exciting to see other retired co-workers. This home has been passes down in the family, was built in 1843 and kept in perfect shape. This photo is the dining room, with the portrait of her great grandfather behind her. Slipped off to bed well after midnight, such an enjoyable night!!!
