St Monans

(backblip)
Oh, what a joy to see the sea again!  And it's sparkling too!  A bit breezy but it's lovely.  There is something reinvigorating about even just seeing the sea in the distance.

We had a super day, walks along to the castle, to the windmill, and through the woods at Balcarres, very tasty food, lots of chatting and then sitting in the sun in Shelagh's lovely, colourful, clematis draped, garden.

Sadly we have to leave in the morning, but it's been a great holiday and being able to spend a day here at the end of it has been perfect.  Another home from home for us!

ps There is a very fluffy heron, shaking its feathers, amongst the extras!
