Edit: 9.30pm.  There seems to be a major house fire underway in a block of flats across the water in Greenock.  Second extra taken at 9.17, third at 9.22.  Five minutes and the whole top floor was ablaze.  Scary even with a mile of water between us.  Lots of folks' lives affected, I imagine.  Twitter tells me the flats are empty, I hope it's true.  Confirmation of the Twitter view.
