New view

Our garden always looks good around the time of the Chelsea Flower Show, with plenty of self-seeded columbines and red valerian, which are eventually joined by ox-eye daisies and a variety of geraniums. Earlier this spring we removed an underused and dilapidated greenhouse and created a new seating area, which has opened up a new view across one of the herbaceous borders towards the renovated pond (still to be completely finished). The seat catches the sun for most of the day, and the whole area is now very popular with our cats! I really love our new view, seen here in the early evening.
