Hen Cloud and Ramshaw Rocks

Again we didn't want to launch ourselves into Bank Holiday crowds today, so opted for a short walk around Tittesworth Reservoir this morning. This is the best view of the walk - looking across towards The Roaches. A well known climbing spot in The Peak District.

In the background, Hen Cloud is on the left and Ramshaw Rocks to the right. You can just see the reservoir to the left in the foreground. It was beautifully sunny and warm but quite hazy.

We then visited a friend on our way home as it was her birthday and I'd forgotten to give her a card when I was at work last week. She, and her husband and mum were a little nervous as they were waiting to watch the play-off between Barnsley and Millwall. Her husband is a Barnsley native.

They needn't have worried as Barnsley won. This means they're in the Championship League and will be playing my other half's team Preston North End next season. This is all I know about football....!

Once we got home, it was another chance to get out in the garden and potter.
