B-day boy

It's been a busy busy day. 

After our morning walk with the dogs we decided to visit El Palmeral park in Alicante with the dogs. That was a mistake as it was forbidden from dogs.

Then we drove (tried to drive) to Elche reservoir, but tried to take a different route as previously and the road transformed into a sand road with only one "lane" and we decided to go home.

Then some lunch and off to hiking. This time the dogs stayed at home. It was too hot for them as we were going to go down from the cliff we live in down to the beach and back. And so we did. It was quite steep. About 140m drop from the cliff to the sea level. We walked a bit at the beach and then headed back. Boy was it hard to climb back. I was panting at times and walking with my hands. But we made it. My legs were spaghetti.

Then back home. As the hike took 2 hours we had to take the dogs for their evening walk. After that we took an evening swim. At that point it was 9pm already!

We were supposed to go out to eat as it was hubby's birthday, but that got postponed to tomorrow. We'll try again then.
