Chives

I do love a chive flower bud and this is the first one unfurling. I spent all day cooking up a storm for a curry banquet tomorrow. I was exhausted - I realised I am not as young as I used to be - but it will be worth it as I won't have so much to do on the day.  I popped out to the garden in the evening for a blip and this is the photo that appealed to me most.
