Lydden

A good way to spend a Bank Holiday Sunday: at the World Rallycross Championship at Lydden Hill, a natural ampitheatre of a motorsport venue near Canterbury. A group of us were hosted by Peugeot, and had an excellent day out. 
Then home in good time to watch the first programme in the new series of Top Gear, co-presented by Chris Evans and Matt Le Blanc. Change of personnel, same format as before. I'll keep watching, but I was hoping they'd come up with something fresh. 
Ah well, I'm happy that they've kept the same familiar theme tune, Jessica by the Allman Brothers - just the same as it was back when I was a TG presenter pre-Clarkson, and indeed as it's been throughout the programme's 39-year history!
