The Day Before…

…the wedding. We are at the venue for the reception, preparing for the big day tomorrow. There is an inherent stress on such days but everything went really well and all was completed on time.
So many people have contributed to this happy day.  As well as the usual preparations with the speeches, the best man, the ushers, and the bridesmaids, there were many others who contributed. All the cakes were home baked, the cake stands created by one friend, the table decorations by another, 3 kilos of Swedish sweets delivered, the hand-written place settings and table names done in calligraphy, the wedding car from  another friend, who also played a very professional chauffeur, the bunting hand-made and put up by friends. 
It is so much fun when so much of the wedding is created by people who know and love the two main participants and want to do their bit to help create a successful big day.
As I walked through the garden, past the dining room, I noticed the happy couple inside catching a quiet moment.
