In 'Local Hero' Territory

Townsman: "Are you sure there are two l's in dollar, Gideon?"
Gideon: "Yes! An' there are two g's in bugger off!"

Sandy is up visiting from Glasgow. His favourite film is 'Local Hero' - and he quotes from it often. So we really had to make a pilgrimage to Pennan this morning - and it couldn't have looked more beautiful, bathed in golden sunshine with the sea a piercing blue.
