At the close of day

An early start in order to get to the airport in time for a flight to Blenheim. Spent the day as one of the team visiting the Wairau Hospital for their accreditation for intern training. On a beautifully sunny day, we were inside the whole time . As soon as we had finished we drove from Blenheim to Nelson where we will stay overnight, before repeating the process for the hospital here before heading home at the end of the day.

The drive this afternoon was through wine country, then pasture land, and then winding through hills before descending into farmland again. As we approached Nelson City, the sun was setting over Golden Bay. I asked the colleague who was driving to stop, and got this photo. As the daylight ended for today.
