PLEASE RAIN....

... maybe what this little red-browed finch was wishing as it sat in my dry private wetlands today.

Returned home after the fun weekend in the city at VIVID, and after the coolest (2 deg C) May morning for 12 years here, the day turned into another stunning sunny one.... but still no rain!!

Also found the heron (in extra) strutting its stuff on the adjoining oval.
