" HAS THE BOAT COME IN "
We went down to the sea this afternoon and we have never seen so many people. I did wonder whether we had taken in another boat load of migrants!!
It was good to see so many happy families but also too much very burnt skin. Skin cancer warnings seem to be ignored. Is it because they live 'up north' as Mr A puts it and they don't usually get sun. The smaller capture is the biggest display of kites I have ever seen.
Now it is Bank Holiday Monday and the sun is still shining. The Beach Road car park is full and although there are signs telling motorists this fact, they are still blocking the road disbelieving the information. Oh well it must be summer here!!
Matthew has requested a trip on the little train ride in Newquay, reliving his childhood again, so that's where we will be heading.
Haven't been around much as Mr A has suffered TWO serious nose bleeds losing pints of blood. And this time was rushed to hospital where they had to cauterise the sites with silver nitrate. They believe it to be caused by his high blood pressure so we will be visiting the doctors tomorrow hopefully.
I hope you enjoy your day and sorry for my absence but you can see why. xxxx
