Santry Demesne Park
There's nothing a like better than a good city park and Santry Park fits that description perfectly. This was across the road from our hotel and we both enjoyed walking in it. There's a pond which was created by widening the Santry River for the boating pleasure of Georgian ladies and gentlemen who resided at the big house which was built in 1703. Because we were travelling light I only had my IXUS with me and I think it did well catching this heron quite nicely. The extra shows the pair which by that time had taken fright and had flown across the pond. There was a junior too, at one point the three of them were lined up and I was left wishing I had my whole kit with me. Mr B has now suggested we get two camera bags and split my gear up for easier carrying, I think he's right.
Here is Friday, Saturday for anyone interested in our Dublin trip and my ramblings
