This vintage box of pencils was sent to us by friends from Singapore, probably because DJ always writes everything in pencil. To be honest the dozen pencils in the box are 2H, much too hard to do any free-flow sketching, but it's the thought that matters ;-) I can imagine that having such a box complete with the statue of Venus of Milo on it would have been a treasure for many.

Give a person a pencil and a piece of paper and there will be something to do, be it the beginnings of a design, a poem, an art work.
