Charles Bridge, Prague

A full day of exploring this lovely city.

We woke to a cloudy but very warm day (reaching 27c). After breakfast we headed out to visit the Jewish quarter in the city but we made our way to Charles bridge first. The bridge, closed to traffic, was full of musical entertainers and tourists! Then on to the Jewish quarter but we were disappointed to find you had to pay to enter the cemetery and synagogues. So, on we went with our walk including a couple of stops for coffees.

The sun came out in the afternoon and we sauntered back to our hotel to enjoy complimentary coffee and pastries in the courtyard. We all (think I've forgotten to mention we are here with our dear friends J & S) then enjoyed time in the wellness area. A relaxing sauna, steam and spa pool.

In the evening we had the most wonderful 3 hour river cruise. The weather was perfect, warm enough to be in a sleeveless top!!! and we had a delicious three course meal accompanied by a lady on the piano (although her singing wasn't too good lol). A truly perfect evening.

Both extras are also of Charles Bridge. My main blip was taken to the left of the gate tower shown in the extra and another on our return journey showing Prague Castle and St. Vitas Cathedral.
