With Courage Nothing Is Impossible

I don't like to travel very far on a Bank Holiday. So when the answer to the question "What time is low tide at West Kirby today?" was about mid-day we headed there.

A lovely walk across the wide sands past Little Eye, across Middle Eye to Hilbre itself. Thousands of others had the same idea too. We had a lovely little picnic, mostly made up from yesterday's left overs, watching the seals bobbing about in the water.

The traffic on the way home was not too bad at all.
