Art...

...is the theme for this week's challenge for MonoMonday.
One of those days for putting on my thinking cap but then, out of the blue, Rebecca asked if l fancied a flying visit to Salts Mill after the crowds had dwindled.
The purpose of the visit was to see a photographic exhibition by Carolyn Mendelsohn about girls between 10 and 12. We were especially interested as we knew two of the subjects.
We really enjoyed looking at all of them and reading about their hopes and dreams.
As we made our way out we went through one of the art galleries, passing this giant chair which is a permanent feature here.
I persuaded Rebecca to sit next to it to give some perspective, (she's not a fan of having her photograph taken)
