Busy In The Peonies

First it was ants, now we have a rather jaunty spider with snazzy green striped legs busy weaving a web in amongst the peonies which are just starting to pop open.

Another unseasonably hot day -- the sixth in a row where temperatures have been in the high 80's/low 90's with high humidity that makes us feel more like we're suffering through the dog days of July and August.
