Gloucester Cheese Rolling & Wake

Yes, it was the annual, unofficial, no ambulances in sight, Gloucester Cheese Rolling & Wake today.

Us (Me, Amy, Oliver and Laura& Jason) and about 3,000 other people gathered on Coopers Hill to watch two groups of men (30 in each) and one lot of women (about 15) hurtle down the near vertical slope after a large Gloucester cheese.  We  also saw one team of boys and one team of girls climb UP the hill!

As you can see from the photo, not everyone takes it as seriously as others.....

The same chap as the last two years won both men's races.  God knows how he practices!!
